Part Time Warehouse Associate (Online Order Fulfillment)

Location: Berkeley, CA
Compensation: Starting at $24.00 per hour
Schedule: 24 hours per week (3 shifts per week)
Required Days: Monday and Friday, plus one additional flexible weekday

About the Role

Nooworks is looking for a reliable, detail-oriented Warehouse Associate to join our small fulfillment team in Berkeley. This role is at the center of our online order operations, making sure orders go out accurately, inventory stays organized, and customers get the right products. This role requires someone who is comfortable switching between tasks, thinking through problems as they come up, and staying engaged in both routine and fast-paced work.

Nooworks is a small team, and we work closely together across fulfillment and operations. This role works best for someone who enjoys being part of a collaborative environment where everyone contributes.

What You’ll Do

• Pick, pack, and ship 50–100 online orders per shift with accuracy and care
• Meet daily shipping deadlines while maintaining Nooworks’ packaging and fulfillment standards
• Investigate and resolve inventory discrepancies by doing thorough stock searches before escalating or contacting customers
• Communicate clearly with customers via email when items are unavailable or affected by inventory issues
• Restock warehouse shelves and maintain organized inventory locations
• Log and track factory repairs, and restock repaired merchandise when it returns
• Assist with receiving and putting away new inventory
• Support inventory counts as needed
• Help with quality control checks on incoming and returned product as needed
• Keep the warehouse clean, organized, and running smoothly day to day
• Jump in on additional warehouse or operations projects when needed

• Team-oriented and willing to help where needed with a positive attitude
• Able to stay focused in repetitive tasks without losing accuracy
• Comfortable using basic computer systems (Shopify experience is a plus, but not required)
• Experience in warehouse, fulfillment, retail, or inventory work is helpful but not required

Physical Requirements

• Ability to stand and move throughout the shift
• Frequent bending, lifting, reaching, and climbing ladders
• Ability to lift up to 40 lbs
• Comfortable working in a warehouse environment with shelving
• Must be comfortable working with dogs
